Cyclopean DR-1
This is the VPD Cyclopean DR series custom bike. This is an example of a custom designed, ground up creation.
Features
There are several unique features available on the VPD designed and fabricated custom bike components, such as the following;
Frame
Unique oval, tapered, and radiused backbone and downtube tubing. 6 out, 2 down. 42 degree rake in neck, 6 in trees.
Rear Suspension
Unique 4-link drag style rear suspension with brake/running/signals integrated into the rear suspension. Link tubes made from chromoly for strength and reduced weight. Air ride drops frame to ground, which eliminates kickstand.
Tanks
Unique split tank design shows backbone and includes in-tank gauge cluster.
Handle Bars
Swept back drag style bar design.
Stainless Steel Seat Pan
Oil Tank/Battery box located in front of the rear tire, combination oil tank, and battery box.
Electrical box - mock oil tank under seat, contains most of the electrical system including air ride compressor, solenoids, and relays.
